Learn how to become your own PR person and get publicity for your decluttering or organising business!

Choose one of three ways to work with Write on Time Ltd, who were guest PR experts at the 2021 and 2022 APDO Conferences

Take the first steps towards getting in newspapers, magazines, on podcasts, the radio or TV!

  • Are you an aspiring or practising declutterer or organiser?
  • Do you struggle to think of newsworthy ways to talk about your business to the press?
  • Would you love two former professional reporters to give you story ideas, press release templates, tools and strategies? Ideas that work for decluttering and organising businesses of any size?

Newspapers, magazines, podcast hosts, radio and TV producers want to hear from business owners just like you. There’s no need to hire a PR agency to play ‘the middleman’ – and charge you an expensive retainer for the privilege!

Instead, Write on Time Ltd have teamed up with APDO to offer you access to several learning tools – specifically created with business owners like you in mind – so you can become your own PR person.

The husband-and-wife team behind Write on Time Ltd, Michelle and Christian Ewen, have worked in real-life newsrooms and press offices for more than 30 years combined, so they know a thing or two about telling stories! You can see them pictured here with their rescue cat, Raymond Reddington.

Guest PR experts at both the 2021 and 2022 APDO Conferences, Michelle and Christian know exactly what’s involved and how you are feeling at every step of the story pitching process – and they want to help you shout about your business!

How can PR help my business?

Marketing again and again to the same audience is a sure-fire way to exhaust your bookings and get stuck in a rut.

And yet so many declutterers and organisers keep showing up in the same places – speaking to the same audiences because it feels like the easiest and safest option.

How might it feel to welcome some new faces into your world? To get your message out to people other than a ‘friend of a friend’?

Your local newspaper has thousands of readers. Some regionals have millions. Then there are niche magazines, podcasts and radio shows that cater to property and lifestyle fans, as well as national newspapers that need fresh story ideas 24/7.

Knowing how to talk about your business in a newsworthy way is a skill you CAN learn.

Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone and get in front of more potential customers?

Whilst Ingrid Jansen and I enjoyed media and online success in the UK before, promoting The Declutter Hub in a global market was brand-new territory for us. In a PR Power Hour, Christian and Michelle taught us how to change the tone of our PR and capitalise on our expertise in a way we hadn’t explored before… 60 minutes of fantastic takeaways! If you want straight-talking, no-nonsense expert PR advice, these two lovely people are just the ticket.
